The Garden in October...

I wandered around the back garden today and thought how beautiful the Autumn colours were...

The azalias red leaves are amazing with the hardy geranium...

I adore the autumn colours of the witch hazel... this one is Jalena which has spidery orange flowers in Winter.

The shrubs are changing colour and losing their leaves...

Leaf of the Magnolia Wilsonii...

Water droplets on the Ladies Mantel leaves... they go a darker colour in the Autumn...

I know we haven't had a proper frost yet...  as we still have our nasturtiums in bloom and they die after the first frosty night...

This nasturtium is beautiful with the black berries on the Rose of Sharon...
they are planted beneath the large Magnolia...
