Nicolette's Notebook

How creativity seems to colour every day of my life

Crawfordsburn at Dusk...

2 December 2010

I took these photographs on Sunday, the same day as my Seagulls on Wing photographs...

It was bitterly cold... and the sea was whipped into foam...

The sky was turning beautiful shades of pink, mauve and peach...

I am trying to think about new things when I look through the camera viewfinder... composition...

I love the depth of the colour of the sea in this photograph contrasted with the pastel sky...

The sea and surf was reflecting the colours above...

But even with the 2deg Celsius weather... families were enjoying a walk by the shore... stopping to skim a pebble on the waters surface...

Walking dogs...

And even... venturing in for a swim... spaniels to seem to be hardy creatures...

I don't know what settings you're using but the first and the fifth are amazing... they look like paintings somehow.
