Like Father... Like Son...

27 October 2010

I couldn't resist photographing this father and son as I walked past their field this morning...

They were just so very alike and having taken an interest in what I was doing for a moment went back to their own interests a minute later...

Misty Morning Walks...

12 October 2010

I find in the Autumn that when I wake up the first thing I do is look out of the window to see if the hill has been shrouded in cloud...  if it is Shane and I set off for the walk from the car park on the Hightown Road...  I really love misty walks... the mistier the better...

This morning Shane just wasn't going to play fair for photographs.  Every time I snapped he turned around or all I got was part of him and his tail... as he disappeared off shot... as he is 16 and rather slow I was obviously taking too long...  After several dodgey photos... I glanced across the hedge to find that we had an audience who seemed to be rather enjoying watching us...

So I gave up on Shane and took a photograph of them...

The cows and calves looked lovely shrouded in mist...

And finally... Shane took pity on me and let me take a photograph as he walked along the lane...
