Macro Monday... couldn't resist taking a few photographs of one of my white speckled hellebores...
These are some of my favourite blossoms in the Spring garden...
Wonderful stamens... deep maroon speckles...
Beautiful plump buds...
Glossy new leaves... I have cut off all of the old leaves from last year...
Everything about this plant appeals to me...
The blossoms turn a wonderful primrose yellow colour as they die off...
Beautiful ruffled petals...

very beautiful... i've never seen this one. currently living in east tn, eastern US. gorgeous-thanks for sharing!
Lovely details of these petals. Happy Macro Monday!
I can understand why you like it. It is gorgeous. And you photographed it well.
Nice Shots!
Beautiful photos!!
Love the angles you showed the bird. If not for the red beak and the bi webbed feet, it would be a very inconspicuous bird. But you showed its nice features!
