It has been bitterly cold and we have had snow and ice for a few days...
My new set of Kenko extension tubes arrived... and how exciting it was... I wanted to look at everything up close with this... I used the Nikon 55-200mm lens with the 36mm extension tube and focused manually... (I really should have been using a tripod but the one I ordered from amazon hasn't arrived yet...)
at the snow...
This photograph was of the snow in sunlight... we had a blue sky and it seemed to be reflected in the snow...
This photograph of the snow was taken a couple of shots after the one above but the snow was in the shade of my bay tree and it gave such a different effect... Very different in colour (all silver, grey and diamond)... but aren't the little crystals beautiful.
